Abstract
Buyuk Menderes Nehri balik faunasinin taksonomik ve zoocografik ozelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaciyla 2010-2011 yillari arasinda yapilan bu calismada balik orneklemeleri; elektrosoker cihazi, solungac aglari, uzatma aglar, igrip ve serpme agi kullanilarak yapilmistir. Orneklemeler sonucunda 13 familyaya ait 34 (19 endemik ve 6 yabanci tur) takson belirlenmistir. Nehir ve kollarinda en baskin familyanin 20 takson ile Cyprinidae familyasi oldugu tespit edilmistir. Rhodeus amarus, Buyuk Menderes Nehri’nden ilk defa bildirilmistir.
