Abstract

A journal entitled Diario de Badajoz appeared in Badajoz (Spain) during the years 1830–1833. It reported daily meteorological observations (temperature, pressure, wind direction, and comments). This record has remained unstudied until now. This early instrumental record is here described and compared with a modern instrumental record (1930–1960) of the Observatorio Meteorologico of Badajoz.
