Abstract

In the preceding article, the abortive attempt to start a fourth commercial television network was discussed. In the present article, Donald N. Wood describes the growth and the trials of a functioning fourth network: the non‐commercial “National Educational Television”; or NET. Dr. Wood is director of the educational television branch of the Educational Media Center of the State of Hawaii's Department of Education.
