Abstract
Through thermolysis of [η 5-EtO 2CC 5H 4W(CO) 3] 2 the title complex 1 has been prepared and characterized by elemental, spectroscopic and X-ray analyses. The X-ray analysis revealed that the Cp * centreWW′ axis of 1, on the contrary to the linear configuration of the Cp centreMoMo axis in its molybdenum analogue, is bent with a 20.1° departure from linearity.
