Abstract

Two specimens of Starry smoothhound, Mustelus asterias Cloquet, 1821 were captured from three miles off the coast of Sile (south-western Black sea) on 19 November 2000 at a depth ca. 90 m. This paper is on the presence of M. asterias in the Black Sea.
