Abstract

Actinobacillus ureae, previously known as Pasteurella urea, is a commensal bacterium, which rarely causes disease in humans and has not been reported from any animal case in the veterinary literature. In this report, the occurrence of acute mastitis caused by A. ureae in an Iranian Ghezel sheep is described.
