Abstract

A specific fine structure of the first electron focusing (EF) line in a bismuth crystal is observed. The effect of the energy of electrons injected through a point-contact upon development of the features is studied. It is shown that the fine structure of the EF line can be related to electron—phonon relaxation in the point contact, interference of electron waves and magnetic surface levels.
