Quality clinical research remains a high priority during the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic response, however, the logistical barriers of conducting research across institutions with differing departmental policy responses and varying resources is a documented problem.
