Abstract

In the process of planning the modes of power systems with a large proportion of hydroelectric power stations, it is necessary to take into account all the technical and economic features of their operation. At the present time, when planning long-term power system modes in the UES of Russia, a step-by-step approach is adopted, in which the water modes of hydroelectric power stations is planned first, after which the power balances of the power systems as a whole are formed. When planning the water mode of hydropower plants, optimization models are used in which the vector of water flow is chosen as a vector of independent variables. When modeling the modes of power systems, the vector of power generation of power plants is chosen as a vector of independent variables. For the unification of mathematical models for their integration, the mathematical model of hydroelectric power stations is considered in which the vector of power generation is a vector of independent variables.
