Abstract

This paper presents innovative technologies for processing and obtaining products made of an alloy based on TiNi, as well as studies concerning the features of machining of alloys that exhibit a shape memory effect (SME). Methods for severe plastic deformation and electroplastic deformation and the advantages and disadvantages thereof, as well as the conditions for using such alloys, are described. Technological operations applied to the formation of the final dimensions for obtaining finished parts such as cutting, drilling holes, milling, and abrasive processing are described.
