Abstract
By actual account, this is the eighth symposium devoted to some aspect of risk assessment with reference to ionizing radiation and chemical agents in which I have participated in the past 5 years. All of these have resulted in impressive-appearing publications, as I presume, will this one. We are doing a tremendous amount of talking. I wish I felt the progress was proportional to the verbiage.
