Abstract

We study bifurcations in the Falkner-Skan equation. we show that for positive integer values of the parameter there are bifurcations which create an infinity of periodic and other interesting trajectories. These bifurcations provide a new mechanism for the creation of strange invariant sets in ordinary differential equations, and are co-dimension one.
