Abstract

This paper describes the facility for neutron radiography at beam tube HB8 of the HFR at Petten. The earlier existing facility for thermal neutron radiography of long fuel rods with a direct beam from the reactor in an internal exposure station has been modified and extended. It has now options for external radiography for general purposes with subthermal neutrons applying a beam filtered by cooled Be and Bi and with thermal neutrons from a beam filtered with Si and Bi. A He filled flight tube allows for radiography in an external station.
