Abstract
The Face of New Testament Studies assembles biblical experts, including Craig Evans, Bruce Chilton, Craig Blomberg, and James D. G. Dunn, to explain major recent developments in New Testament research and how these developments help us better understand the Bible. Twenty-two contributors examine the historical, social, and literary context of the New Testament, recent advances in textual criticism and Greek grammar, and current issues in the interpretation of each New Testament book. This book will be a timely reference for students and scholars of the New Testament as well as for pastors and interested readers who want to bring their awareness of New Testament studies up to date.
