Abstract

AbstractNanoporous metals (Au, Cu, Pd) fabricated by chemical or electrochemical dealloying, possess intriguing properties towards enormous promising potentials for heterogeneous catalysis, such as unique pore structure, tunable nanoporosity, large specific surface area, high density of atomic steps and kinks, as well as high thermal stability. Here, we summarized nanoporous metals fabricated from different alloys by dealloying and their applications in heterogeneous catalysis. They showed high catalytic activity and selectivity and could be reused several times without obvious loss of activity.KeywordsDealloyingHeterogeneous catalysisNanoporous gold catalystNanoporous copper catalystNanoporous palladium catalyst
