Abstract

Upon examination of pupillary recordings made at eight recordings per second during presentation of control and authority-related experimental stimuli, a significant difference in the number of eye blinks was found. More eye blinks were recorded with control stimuli. The potential artifactual effects of this finding in research where only two recordings per second are made, is discussed. A possible solution of the problem is also offered.
