Abstract

The extraction of the nitrates of the rare earth metals with mixtures consisting of binary extractants was explored: 2-ethylhexyl-mono-2-ethylhexyl ether phosphonate tri-n-octylamine, di- (2-ethylhexyl) phosphate tri-n-octylamine and a neutral extractant (solvating reagent) – tri-n-octylamine nitrate. It was established that the extraction of the nitrates of the REM occurs in accordance with the patterns of binary extraction. Extraction systems are characterized by high selectivity in regard to rare-earth metals Pages
