Abstract
AbstractThe partition coefficient of niobium(V) between hydrochloric acid solutions and benzene solutions of tri‐n‐octylamine (TOA) has been investigated under various conditions. A spectrophotometric study has been carried out for both the aqueous and organic phase. Further, the effects of organic solvent and of amine structure on the extraction of niobium have been examined.
