Abstract

Objectives: The Covid-19 virus appeared for the first time in China in late 2019 and spread to most countries in the world, and in 2020 it spread to Jordan. Then the government took many preventive steps that it spread among the people to prevent the disease from spreading. This study aimed to identify the extent of Jordanian society's awareness of COVID-19 resistance through the association of immunity and a healthy lifestyle.
 Methods: The researcher used the descriptive survey method with the use of a questionnaire for the study, which was distributed electronically and randomly. The study sample consisted of 1366 male and female respondents
 Results: The results of the study were that the pattern of dietary habits, dietary behavior, or methods of disease resistance are not at the required level in Jordanian society. On the other hand, sports practices were good and contributed to the prevention of the emerging corona disease. The study also found that there were statistically significant differences in the level of the pattern of dietary habits. Or food behavior that protects against the spread of the new Corona virus disease due to the social gender in favor of males, and to the variable of the age group in favor of the group (18-27) years, and among the results of the study there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the level of dietary habits pattern or Dietary behavior that protects against the spread of the emerging corona virus disease is attributed to the variable of occupation, the variable of marital status, and the variable of the monthly income level.
 Conclusion: In light of the results reached, the researcher recommends the following: Firstly, raising community awareness about healthy eating habits that must be followed during the Corona pandemic, and secondly, setting up a mechanism to communicate with community members about the importance of exercising and its role in maintaining a healthy immune system.
