Abstract

(Int J Obstet Anesth. 2021;46:102977) One-fifth of emergency cesarean deliveries (CD) in the United Kingdom are performed under extension of labor epidural analgesia to surgical anesthesia. In 2014, a survey was sent to lead obstetric anesthetists in the United Kingdom regarding practices for extending labor analgesia to achieve surgical anesthesia. These results were compared with a similar survey published in 2008.
