Abstract
The expression of p21、p53、EGFR、PCNA and CEA in colonic and small intestinal metaplasia of gastric mucosa was observed with immunohistochemical S P method,and gastriccarcinoma and normal mucosa membrane were compared at the time.The results showed that p53 was only expressed in gastric carcinoma.p21 might be helpful in the assessment of celluar malignance.EGFR was obviously expressed in gastric carcinoma and there was siqnificant difference between in two types of intestinal metaplasia.PCNA and CEA were not significantly different between in two types of intestinal metaplasia.The results suggest:that colonic metaplasia of gastric mucosa taking a turn for malignant is easier than intestinal metaplasia.
