The Exploration of Modes for College Design Workshops Based on Cloud Platform

Abstract

Workshop is one of the most important practical training processes in current colleges design education activities. At present, there are mainly two design workshop models for colleges: one is held by some colleges on the occasion of the academic meeting opportunity, and the other one is held by creative industrial parks or creative corporations. However, neither of them could be conducted in a normalized and effective way. The college design workshop, which is based on cloud platform, is divided into two processes: the first routine part and the subsequent normalized part. In the first part, the cloud platform is integrated into the workshop management, in order to realize information sharing, design and management communication, data storage, and other functions, which could improve the efficiency greatly, In the subsequent part, the design workshop could be carried out among students in different regions through the cloud platform at any time. This new implementation pattern could play a positive role to promote the impact of the workshops on college design education.
