Abstract
Higher medical education is an important part of higher education.It has both the universal objective law of higher education,and simultaneously its own special rules.This paper reveals the special regularity and characteristics of higher medical education from the following five aspects:(1) Higher medical education is a kind of boutique equality education; (2) Higher medical education has five basic characteristics; (3)Higher medical education is a coherent educational process consists of three stages of education ; (4) The growth process of higher medical personnel experience four important links ; (5) Higher medical education and affiliated hospitals have inextricably subordinate relationship.
