Abstract
The experimental study has been carried out to clarify the characteristics of wave overtopping of the gentle slope seawalls which has 1:3 front grade with wave dissipating blocks, considering the change of seawall's crown widths.The result of the experiment clarified the total flow volume and its horizontal distri -bution of wave overtopping and comparing to the conventional type of wave dissipating seawalls which has 1:4/3 front grade.ir addition, we obtained some useful figures from which the amount of wave overtopping at arbitrary crown width of seawalls can be presum -ed.They are expected to be utilize to settle crown width of seawalls.
