Abstract

It is found that T cell receptor (TCR) may perform secondary rearrangement under the condition of indued recombination activating genes (RAG) re-expression, thus shaping and enriching the T cell repertoire. Peripheral and central changes of TCR are called receptor revision and receptor editing, respectively, and they may occur and play a role in neoplasm, infection, transplantation and autoimmune diseases. The naechanisms of TCR editing and revision are explored with both animal models and human cells. The progress in the research of TCR editing and revision is reviewed. Key words: TCR ; RAG ; Secondary rearrangement ; Receptor editing ; Receptor revision ;
