Abstract

The author measured the TC of losses-like soil in Changchun with QTM-D2 and discussed the effect of samples in different sizes, the testing error in lab and in site. The research about the size error of TC offered feasible solution to measure TC of geotechnical materials in site. In addition, the empirical relations between TC and temperature of sand and loess-like soil, and their temperature variance coefficient  were also summed up by experiments. It has important significance to understand the heat-conducting property and simulate temperature field of geotechnical materials in northern China.
