Abstract

AbstractThe results of the study of the phenomenon of faith and the experience of faith accompanying its functioning are presented. It is shown that faith is one of the anthropological properties awakened by the need of a person to overcome the suffering states that envelop him, a feeling of timidity that constrains a person’s actions, the experience of a person’s faith characterizes the realized need for enduring knowledge that eliminates feelings of inner anxiety (diseases of the soul). The substantive aspects of the experience of faith are concretized: the diversity of the inner world of a person, the degree of development of a sense of responsibility, duty. The interpretation of the experience of faith as a form of imprinting human activity and value orientations in feelings and experiences is presented. The experience of a person’s faith is considered as a system-forming principle in a person. It is a symbol of wisdom, allows you to maintain such emotional and sensual states of a person as hope, love. The experience of faith can contribute to the moral life of a person - strengthen his self-control, patience, focus on practical actions, focus on showing attention to the needs of other people. The study of faith, the experience of faith as facets of human existence, contributes to the restoration of continuity mechanisms. The experience of faith, understood as a worldview universal, as a concept, becomes a condition for the possibility of increasing knowledge about the world, understanding a person’s place in it.KeywordsFaithExperienceUniversalityWorldviewIdentity
