Endoscopic trans nasal surgery has become well established outside the realm of chronic inflammatory disease. Advances in instrumentation, combined with increased familiarity with endoscopic surgical techniques now allows a variety of orbital lesions, tumors, and skull base defects to be approached with an endoscopic approach and reduced morbidity. We anticipate that the role of endoscopic surgery will continue to grow in the management of skull base tumors.
