Abstract

(Di)radikal in Reinkultur: Rechnungen zufolge hat die Stammverbindung 2,4-Diborata-1,3-diphosphoniocyclobutan-1,3-diyl (I) eine vernachlässigbare Energielücke zwischen Singulett- und Triplettform (1.2 kcal mol−1) und könnte als perfektes Diradikal sowohl disrotatorische als auch konrotatorische Ringschlüsse zu den Bicyclo[1.1.0]butan-Derivaten I′ und I′′ eingehen.
