The evolving threat from China

Abstract

Until recently, there has been a presumption about Chinese state-sponsored threat groups that they are more prolific than sophisticated. There are good reasons for that, given some of their past activities, and it remains true that their levels of operational security can vary. However, direct observation over the past 18 months suggests that Chinese threat groups are now paying more attention to the operational security and technical sophistication of their intrusion activity.
