Abstract

The article informs that scientists have started to identify features of the brain and body that underpin exceptional ability of human to dance. Insights from psychology and archaeology point out the possibility that dancing itself evolved as an adaptive trait to strengthen human social bonds for enhanced survival. It also discusses research of neuroscientist Aniruddh D. Patel at Tufts University on dancing trait of human beings.
