Abstract

This study examines how social media platforms have shaped Chinese internet culture and how they influence online trends. This papers introduction to internet culture and how it affects society focuses on the unique characteristics of internet culture in China because of the countrys social, technological, and political context. From the early utilization of the web in the last part of the 1990s through the coming of critical online entertainment stages like WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu, the historical backdrop of Chinese web culture is chronicled. The strength of these stages in the Chinese virtual entertainment market is talked about in the article, as well as its highlights for correspondence, web based business, amusement, and news. Moreover, it looks at client mentalities and ways of behaving with regards to Chinese web culture, giving specific consideration to how individuals consume content, how they show themselves to other people, how powerhouses are seen, and the results of utilizing virtual entertainment unnecessarily. In order to successfully traverse the distinctive Chinese online environment, the study emphasizes the dynamic character of Chinese internet culture and the significance of comprehending user behavior inside the social media environment.
