Abstract

Using Geographic Information System (GIS) and evaluation model integration technology of soil heavy metal pollution to survey, sample and analyze of the eight kinds of heavy metals in the black soil region (Dehui) of Jilin province in northeast of China. Following the national soil environmental quality standard, the single pollution index was used to elevate the pollution degree of single element, and the result of this evaluation was the Comprehensive pollution index. Based the spatial distributing rules and characteristics of heavy metals content of soil in study region, outputted the evaluation chart of soil heavy metal pollution of both the single and the Comprehensive pollution, and analyzed the status of the soil heavy metal pollution. As the data indicated, the quality of the soil in study region was nice, there was no large Comprehensive heavy metal pollution region. However, it was worth to attention that the element Ni had a great distributing bound and the index of pollution was high.
