Abstract
Differences in access to cancer control across and within European countries have long been reported and further amplified by recent crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Resolving these inequalities is a moral, socioeconomic, and systemic duty, for the benefit of every European citizen. Recognising this need, the European Commission has included a focus on eliminating inequalities in cancer control in Europe's Beating Cancer Plan.
