Abstract

Probably the most discussed money market of the 1960s and 1970s is the Eurocurrency market. This market is regarded by some as a safe haven for expatriate funds, by others as a much-needed cement for solidifying the international money markets, by others as an international money market in itself, and by still others as a leak in the circuits through which central bankers attempt to enforce their monetary policies.1
