Abstract
Three gingival cysts were studied histochemically and showed a greater quantity of substances in the cystic epithelium in relation to the gingival epithelium. The etiopathogenesis of gingival cysts since the trauma and/or the inflammation is discussed and related with the local metabolic disturbance.
