Abstract

Over the last 7 years arguing about matters of computer science in the legal system, the author has encountered a large number of incorrect technical propositions, advanced by asserted “IT experts.” This article explores the wider ethical issues that arise from this situation and proposes a pathway for the computer science community to resolve the underlying problems.
