Reflecting the experiences of numerous professional and business groups, 21 persons contributed essays about political freedom, economic policy, and ethical judgment. Reprinted with critical commentaries are the codes of ethics of various professional groups such as chiefs of police, American football coaches, realtors, newspaper editors, broadcasters, and others. Presented with clarity and incisiveness are recent events such as, for example, the use of codes of ethics
