Abstract

The successful maintenance, for over two years, of the colony of Anopheles quadrimaculatus , whose establishment was reported in Science (1), led us to apply the same technique (2) to the rearing of other species of anophelines. We have now raised A. punctipennis under insectary conditions in a manner that convinces us that we have succeeded in establishing a colony.
