Abstract
AbstractThe composition of the essential oils obtained from the dried leaves and flowers of Phlomis herba‐venti L. (Labiatae) was analysed by GC and GC–MS. The major constituents of the leaf essential oil were germacrene D (33.9%), hexadecanoic acid (12.9%) and α‐pinene (9.4%). The major constituents of the flower essential oil were hexadecanoic acid (33.1%), 6,10,14‐trimethylpentadecan‐2‐one (16.2%), 3‐methyltetradecane (6.7%) and germacrene D (6.7%).
