Abstract
Using <TEX>$\mathcal{N}$</TEX>-structures, the notion of an <TEX>$\mathcal{N}$</TEX>-essence in a sub-traction algebra is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Relations among an <TEX>$\mathcal{N}$</TEX>-ideal, an <TEX>$\mathcal{N}$</TEX>-subalgebra and an <TEX>$\mathcal{N}$</TEX>-essence are investigated.
