Abstract

When the current sensor is working in an ideal state, there is a certain linear relationship between the primary-side coil current and the vice-side coil current. However, because of the magnetizing current, the eddy current, the magnetic flux leakage and other phenomena, the current sensor has inevitable energy losses in practical working. So when the current is very small, the linear relationship can not be met. And the error is mainly caused by the magnetizing current. This article analyzes the error of current sensor in details and introduces two major error compensation methods.
