Abstract

The Albanian frontier warriors’ songs express the highest artistic part of Albanian oral epics. They have many grammatical features and are very rich with poetic ancient native thematic. The most important in those songs are actions as cult, chivalric cult that is the main element and is connected with other ingredient that creates the song as meaningful and poetic unit. The songs of the frontier warriors existed for centuries in Albanian country with other oral poetries especially with historic thematic legends and ballads. How those stories and features treat of the strategy of narration frontier warriors songs are connected customs in oral and written form that existed before and were transmitted for countries from a generation to the other. Like “The Epic of Gilgamesh”, “Iliad”, “Odysseus”. “Roland’s song”, “Digenis Akritas”, “Pagonis Aristos”, “Song of the Nibelungs”.
