Abstract

Enthalpy measurements were performed with a high-temperature calorimeter of the Calvet type on the quartz-like, vitreous, and liquid forms of beryllium fluoride between 456 and 1083 K. The melting temperature, the enthalpy of fusion, and the enthalpy of transformation of beryllium fluoride from the vitreous to the α-quartz form were also determined.
