Abstract
The enthalpy increments of solid and liquid cadmium di-iodide have been measured from 477 to 859 K in a diphenyl ether drop calorimeter. In addition, differential scanning calorimetry revealed no indications of phase transformations apart from the solid-liquid transition. From these data thermodynamic functions for the solid and liquid phases have been calculated.
