Abstract
The enthalpies of solution have been measured for acetamide in LiCl and KCl aqueous solutions at 298.15 K. The enthalpic interaction parameters h xy, h xyy and h xxy of acetamide with these salts have been evaluated. Combining the previous studies for other alkali-metal halides, the experimental results are discussed in views of electrostatic interaction and structural interaction.
