Abstract

In “The Enigma of Unarrival,” well-known Trinidadian-American novelist Robert Antoni, author of Blessed is the Fruit (1997) or more recently As Flies to Whatless Boys (2013), starts from an essay that Caryl Phillips wrote about the lost tribes of Israel, but also from personal memories, to provide an idiosyncratic reading of Phillips’s plural sense of home.
