Abstract
Favourable foreshore exposures of Thanet and Woolwich Beds at Herne Bay, Kent, have yielded dental plates of chimaeroid fishes revealing hitherto unknown features and three new species. These are described below as Callorhynchus newtoni sp.nov., Chimaera eophantasma sp.nov. and Edaphodon minor sp.nov. Other English species are reviewed in the light of these additions.
