Abstract
Abstract We consider the two major effects for the energy dependence of the alpha-nucleus potential coming from (i) the nuclear interaction and (ii) the Pauli distortion of the α-particle. We calculate the real part of the alpha-nucleus potential, its energy dependence and also its dependence on the size of the target.
