Abstract
The paper considers a narrow longitudinal slot in the wide wall of a rectangular waveguide with a layer of dielectric arranged parallel to the waveguide narrow walls. The resonant properties of the slot and the behavior of its scattering matrix elements are investigated depending on physical dimensions and e of the dielectric.
